As you may be aware, Houston is once again privileged to host the Synodical Convention of The Lutheran Church–-Missouri Synod this summer. The 64th Regular Convention, with the theme, “One People: Forgiven!” will take place July 10-17 at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
As the host city and one of the host congregations, there are many areas where volunteers, like you, are needed.
Here are some of the specific needs:
- Registration and Information Committee, Friday, July 9 through Sunday, July 11. Contact Kelly Biar for more information.
- Altar Builder(s), as St. Mark is one of the 12 area congregations supplying an altar and accessories for the opening worship service on Saturday. Contact Pastor Heitshusen for more information.
- Others for set-up, tear-down, and transportation of items for Saturday morning and evening. Contact Pastor Heitshusen for more information.
